Subodh Patnaik

Subodh Patnaik is a theatre director and playwright from Odisha. He is the Founder Director of Bhubaneswar-based theatre group Natya Chetana and the theatre village 'Natya Grama'. He has written and directed about 45 short plays and 27 long plays through these projects. He has pioneered the forms of Cyco Theatre and Intimate Theatre in Odisha and has also been invited to several international events to deliver speeches, conduct workshops, etc. From 2012-2018, he was the only Odia theatre person invited by Ministry of Culture, Govt of Odisha to serve as one of the Expert Committee members that recommends grants for cultural organisations of India.
