Ashis Nandy

A recipient of Fukora Asian Culture Prize, Ashish Nandy is a trained psychologist, a political psychologist, a social theorist and critic, among many other things. For a long while, Nandy was Senior Fellow and Former Director of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) and currently, he serves as a Senior Honorary Fellow at the institute and as the Chairperson of the Committee for Cultural Choices and Global Futures, also in New Delhi.
